This evening we just ended session 5 of the Intensive Coach Training that I’m taking. Learning more each week and enjoying the journey; plus blessed to be interacting with such a diverse and energy-giving group of people.
Anne ends our sessions with quotes and today’s is

Life is a narrative that you have a hand in writing.
- Henriette Anne Klauser

How apt since every decision we make and action we take or not take; fills in the canvas we call life. The good news is that like paintings, you can shade it further and make changes… as long as nothing overly drastic was done which cannot be modified. Drastic doesn’t always mean bad, it just depends on the intention and may it always be generosity.

Was looking at the Forbes Lists (ALL)

and at first glance, couldn’t find a list that even half inspired me to want to be featured in.. where’s the list for humility, hope and positivity? Wait, give me some time to create that...

The value and joy of authenticity comes up a lot since I started looking out for it.

Edward de Bono said “The quality of our thinking will determine the quality of our future.”

I was deeply impacted by the simplicity yet profoundness of his words. I needed to understand and embed it into my mind through discovery and resonance.

So I sat down to think and dream. Some realizations:

When I first saw this video of born inventor William Kamkwamba, I asked myself -

What was I doing when I was 14?

Where is Malawi?

What would I do if I flicked the switch and the light didn't come on?

Let’s talk about Passion and Champagne as they relate to life...

Passion comes from within, just like when you pour champagne into a flute, an initial burst of effervescence occurs. Seeing the bubbles rise up remind me that it’s really up to me to create the joy that perks me up.

With this burst of motivation - in the case of champagne - I focus on dancing and getting into great conversations with friends new and old. In the case of life, I inch closer to what inspires me, review the high yet realistic expectations, then get to work; yes, get to work.

The party doesn't end there, so I'm careful not to dampen the fizz by over-indulging. Experience has taught me not to end up with that headache and having to hear ‘I told you so’ from the naysayers. What I aim for is continuous energy and happiness.

On that happy note, here's a grand Salud to champagne, sparkling wine and sparkling water alike! May you discover that effervescence and passion from within.
